Judith Middleton-Kroon Lifesaving Grants

Judith Middleton-Kroon loved animals. Upon her passing in 2012, much of her estate was distributed to animal welfare agencies. Her family provided the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance with the seed money to establish a grant program to assist certified home based rescue organizations to pull at-risk animals out of shelters because of their age, medical or behavioral condition. The Kroon grant funds have helped save the lives of hundreds of animals and more than $80,000 has been distributed to certified rescues.
